Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, or your favourite steak seasoning

Instructions

  •  Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the ribeye steak dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer.
  • Place the seasoned ribeye steak in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired level of doneness: around 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium, and a bit longer for well-done.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130°F (54°C); for medium, 140°F (60°C); and for well-done, 160°F (71°C).
  • Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute, ensuring a tender, juicy steak.
  • Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favourite sides.
