Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Pat the ribeye steak dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer.
Place the seasoned ribeye steak in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired level of doneness: around 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium, and a bit longer for well-done.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130°F (54°C); for medium, 140°F (60°C); and for well-done, 160°F (71°C).
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute, ensuring a tender, juicy steak.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favourite sides.
